The Sonoma County Gallery Group [SCGG]  is an association of fine art and artisan galleries, art organizations, and art related businesses dedicated to exhibiting and promoting visual art in Sonoma County.

Conceived in Oct. 2005, SCGG became a Mutual Benefit Non Profit corporation in Dec. 2006. SCGG is primarily run by a volunteer directors board of members.

The mission of the SCGG is to establish Sonoma County as "the" destination for art. This includes printing and distributing an annual Gallery Guide Map, maintaining a member website, member networking & sharing of resources, arts advocacy, and media promotion to generate increased public interest in, and economic support for, the visual arts galleries of Sonoma County.

General GALLERY Membership
SCGG general membership is open to fine art galleries, museums, artisan and handcraft galleries
and arts organizations exhibiting fine art and artisan (handmade) crafts in Sonoma County.
General membership is also available to art related businesses including custom frame shops,
interior design showrooms and select winery venues dedicating at least 50% of their public space
to the exhibition of original fine art and artisan (handmade) crafts. Dues is $200.00 per year. If you join mid-year, dues are pro-rated.

General GALLERY Membership benefits include:

* Listing and placement on the SCGG annual Gallery Guide printed Map

* Gallery listing, individual web page and online map on SCGG.org

* Links to website and email

* Exhibition and events posting on the SCGG.org calendar

* Optional participation in SCGG co-op advertising and promotional opportunities

Associate Directory
SCGG Associate Membership is open to community organizations sponsoring regular fine art exhibitions and related programs; art/craft festivals; art suppliers and art-related businesses. Associate Membership dues is $100.00 per year. If you join mid-year, dues are pro-rated.

Associate Membership benefits include:

* Directory listing with venue description on SCGG.org

* Links to website and email

* Exhibition and events posting on the SCGG.org calendar

* Optional participation in SCGG co-op advertising and promotional opportunities

All members are also invited and encouraged to participate in the SCGG in direct ways, including sub-committee work, assisting with events, and serving on the SCGG Board of Directors.
All membership applications will be reviewed and approved by the SCGG Membership Committee.
